About Us
The Littlest Lives Rescue is a small rabbit rescue based in North Bristol. Since taking on the rescue at the beginning of 2020, we have gone from strength to strength, building on the reputation that the previous owner had worked so hard to achieve.
The Littlest Rescue was founded by Bev Taylor is 2006 where she held the main centre in her garden. Bev and the rescue has helped thousands of animals over the years and will continue to do the same for many years to come. When Bev decided to retire in 2019, Brittany who had her own small rescue decided to offer to take over and in October 2022 Jo Bray took on the mantle of Chairperson.
With the help from our army of volunteers, we moved the rescue to a new location in North Bristol in 2022. We developed the land and built a new pad from the ground up for our bonded group of 16 rescue bunnies, which was a massive achievement.
The rescue is run and managed by three Trustees, Jo, Jac and Mel. We all work full-time in other occupations, as well as running the rescue in our spare time. So, we widely depend on our amazing team of around 50 volunteers, whose roles include fostering, cleaning out, admin and fundraising and without the good will of all of them, we just couldn’t do what we do.
Our focus is for the welfare of all the bunnies that are surrendered to us. They all go through our vaccination and neutering program if required and are only rehomed in pairs or bonded with an owner’s bunny to make a pair/trio. Setups must comply with RWAF guidelines, and we are always on hand to educate and help potential owners through the process.
Please take a look around The Littlest Lives Rescue Bristol website and whether you are looking to adopt a bunny or want to offer your help, we’d love to hear from you.
